Broad leaf bamboo

Bamboo is used to represent something wonderful, and has the connotation of being strongly rooted and very fertile. It is popularly used as an emblem for these reasons. Used by Takenaka and Date of Sendai.

Fan paper

Fan paper refers to the special paper used to make fans. When a main family used the folding fan emblem, a branch family would often use the fan paper out of courtesy. Often seen in the Fukuoka prefecture.
