Oak

Oak leaves have historically been used as plates for holding food. When these began to be offered to the gods, the oak gained a reputation for being sacred. It is said that priests were the first to use oak emblems, and is still commonly seen by those in that profession.

Threeleaf arrowhead

Often found in swamps or damp areas. The plant has signified good luck, and was favoured by warlords. Used by Mouri as a secondary emblem.

Folding fan

This emblem is a pictorial representation of a folding fan. In ancient times, creating wind was seen as summoning gods and spirits. For this reason, warlords would often carry fans for good luck.
